December Imprints & Announcements
Before we roll into the fun stuff, a few more quick announcements! There will be no additional imprints at the end of the month for December. This is, of course, because of the holidays. The next imprint drop will be on January 15th. We will still be posting a fresh TDM on the 1st.

The Species Naming Poll is now officially open for voting! This poll will remain open until January 11th 11:59 PM (UTC). You may vote once for each character you currently play in the game. If you were late to make a suggestion, you may use the "Other" option to fill in whatever ideas you might have. The final names will be chosen alongside the January imprint drop.

We will also be posting our State of the Game update in January so as not to overlap with the holidays. In the meantime, you’re welcome to continue leaving us feedback on the initial post if you haven’t already.

December Gift Exchange Mingle
The December Mingle Log is up! It seems that the gifts weren't all that the world had planned for today, and everyone will find themselves with a mysterious letter...

There will also be a severe blizzard across all of the known world sometime after the party is set to begin. This storm will not last the rest of the month, thankfully, but it will persist for about 24 hours before settling back down into normal weather.

Hello everyone! September here, fresh meat, bringing with me Venti's castmate Zhongli from Genshin Impact! He's an old man who likes to talk about history, has no money on him all the time for some reason, and generally is responsible for keeping Venti in check. And also making sure people follow rules. And performing funerals.

He is also Very Tall (190cm) so please make him carry your characters at some point.

Like Venti, he's also a spoilery character for Genshin, so I have an opt-out here! There's more info about him on my permissions page here (but the expandable menus have unmarked spoilers so tread at your own risk).

BlueFlewFedUQueen here with my second character! And for once I am actually playing from a thing people might actually know(?!?!) so here's Venti from Genshin Impact, that gacha game that looks kinda like BotW!!

Venti is a very normal bard who is definitely not weird or suspicious in any way! On a totally unrelated note, I know a few people here are still playing through the early chapters of Genshin so like if you want me to avoid spoilers around you please hit up my permissions post. New Imprints & December Event Sign-Ups
December OOC Updates
Thank you to everyone who responded to our State of the Game post last month! We'd like to respond to some of the questions and ideas put forth, so we'll be making a follow up post soon on what we'd like to do moving forward.

In the meantime, there are a few small updates we'd like to talk about right now:

There will not be a new TDM post for December, and we will be transitioning into a once every 2 or 3 months schedule for the future. The general consensus has been that the current TDMs don't get enough activity to need a replacement every single month, and we agree with this! For the TDM AC bonus, we will be updating the wording on the AC page to make it clear that threads from the most recent TDM will be valid even if it was not posted that month.

To go with one of the new imprints this month, we'd like to finally decide on official names for each of the setting's current species. We will be setting up an OOC poll to help decide on what names to include, so if you haven't looked at the name suggestions thread on the Bestiary page yet, please take a look and submit any ideas you have as soon as possible!

It's the holiday season, so for December's AC everyone gets a free pass! You may still submit your full AC for influence points, but the minimum AC requirements for all players will be a check-in comment for December. If you took a strike for November's AC, you can still pass December's AC by check-in or partial/regular AC - however you must clear your strike in January's AC.

I've noted this on her profile too and in my TDM top level, so I'll say it here: physically, Arashi Narukami is male, but canon has made it fairly clear that Arashi prefers to be thought of as female; as such, this journal uses she/her pronouns, but if icly your character would refer to Arashi as male in narration or speech, then that's perfectly understandable!

Hello everyone! My name is Mio and I'm completely new to the game!

I'm bringing you Haru Okumura from Persona 5 Royal and she's just your typical cinnamon roll. She is a rich girl who wants nothing but the best for her friends and likes to spend her time gardening. She also likes to hear the screams of terror from shadows and spend her money on elephant poop coffee too.

Hi guys, it's Ren!Jade with another 17 year old who wears glasses except this one is actually 117 and time has stopped for him so he just looks like your average high schooler with the attitude of a grandpa

Watanuki Kimihiro is from xxxHolic which is interconnected with Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle; he's the protagonist of the fomer and a minor character of the latter and both of them are a nightmare but also are surely needed to understand what the hell is this man so I am linking both Wikis here in case anyone is interested in his story and all the spoilers and whatnot: tsubasa&xxxholic

To sum up, Kimihiro is the (temporary or so he wishes) owner of a wish-granting store that only appears to those who need it. All wishes are technically game as long as one can pay the price and the store owner can grant it. He's obviously stripped of all magic but usually!! He's a powerful ass warlock and a dreamseer. Prior to the Void he had actually sold his ability to leave the shop so he's actually very confused as to how is he here.

The idea of different dimensions and realities is very very very close to home, his ~~mom~~ mentor was called the dimensional/space-time witch and well, he has actual reasons to not be surprised at the existence of the Void, due the revelations in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. He's nice (although he's nicer to girls tbh), polite and emotionally distant. Break that and he's basically a naggy, annoyed wife. He's an emotional, existential rollercoaster ride and he hasn't had a normal friend or seen anyone who isn't a client, his ~~boyfriend's~~ rival-turned-friend's son and further generations, or you know a PERSON WHO ISN'T A SPIRIT in decades please help him

Oh also he is currently blind in his golden-colored eye and yes he has two different eye colors and he can't taste food so that's fun

Mid-Month Imprints & SotG Reminder
State of the Game
You’ve likely already seen it, but we want to put out a reminder to have a look at the State of the Game update posted earlier this month if you haven’t already. There’s no deadline on submitting feedback, so please drop us a line if you have anything you’d like to tell or ask us about how things are going!

New Imprints
5 new imprints have been added to the game’s setting, including 2 new species and 2 new species designations. This information will be copied to the Locations and Bestiary pages shortly.

There have also been updates to 2 locations based on new imprints.

Hello everyone! My name is Liam, and I am brand new to Tabula Rasa, bringing you one (1) Hajime Iwaizumi from the volleyball sports anime Haikyuu!!

Iwaizumi is an extremely driven athlete who cares about volleyball, his team, and not much else. He’s prone to being grumpy 24/7, can be a bit of a bully, and will be missing his ~~boyfriend~~ best friend, the game, and normal life in general. He’s gonna be in his adjustment period this month, and I am super eager to build some CR to get him through it! The world of Haikyuu!! Is pretty average compared to anything that’ll be going on here, so he’s definitely going to be thrown for a loop. Aside from being a grumpy asshole though, Iwaizumi is an extremely caring dude who would die for his friends, so he’s a good ally to have once he warms up to you!

Hello friends (or potential friends)!

I'm Daimon, I'm brand new to this game, and am bringing Prompto Argentum from that one roadtrip simulator Square Enix made a couple years ago...er, Final Fantasy XV.

Prompto's a friendly, high-energy person who loves photography and bad jokes a little too much. He's terrible at staying still and sometimes leans on the fourth wall a little bit, but he's from a (final) fantasy world, so he's not going to be referencing anything by specific name.

He's also a bit shy and has some issues with anxiety, but he'll usually try to cover them with more jokes.

He's a bit spoilery for people who haven't played his DLC episode, so I can try to avoid mentioning things in it if anyone wants?

Hello everyone, and welcome to October! We have lots happening this month, so let’s get right into it:

October Event
There will be another event for the month of October. We will not reveal the full details just yet, but a post will be going up on October 7th to let everyone know what to prepare for. For now, we will only say that the concept of sleep and dreams will be introduced. Look forward to it!

New Imprints
4 new imprints have been added to the game’s setting, including 2 locations and 1 new species. This information will be copied to the Locations and Bestiary pages shortly.

There have also been updates to 1 location and 1 existing species based on character actions and new imprints.
