Otherwise, we would need to put up a post with broken links, set up all the comments, and then edit the post again to fix the links, which could make complications in getting everything set up correctly. Since this is a minor issue that can be avoided by checking the comms manually, consulting the mod calendar or following the mod Plurk, we can't promise consistency in Dreamwidth providing notifications for every single mod post.
